We are looking for an Aviation Support Specialist to join our Gatwick based team to help deliver a first-class service to Air Partner clients, operators and internal customers working on a 24-hour shift pattern.
You will provide comprehensive support to the Air Partner trading business across the Group in a fast paced and changing environment. The role will encompass a variety of tasks including, flight watching and out of hours charter / ACMI broking, whilst maintaining and delivering a high level of customer service at all times.
This is an office-based position working shifts of 7am to 7pm or 7pm to 7 am with the current pattern of 4 on 4 off. The usual pattern is 2 night shift, 2 days shifts, 5 days off, then 3 night shifts, 2 day shifts and 4 days off, then 2 night shifts 3day shifts then 4 days off.
Every third month is a float month where shifts are allocated to cover gaps in the roster so some flexibility is needed.
Salary is between £22,000 and £24,000 and you will also be entitled to a £1,800 annual shift allowance.
What you will be doing:
- Monitoring and flight watching Air Partner Chartered flights and providing updates to the Customer and the in-house broker directly. - Brokering any out of hours private jet charters and ACMI requests, whilst maintaining a high level of service. - Monitoring news for breaking events to be reactive to requests for go-now flights. - Fielding any Emergency Procedures Department (EPD) calls, following the callout procedure, and searching for suitable aircraft as required. - Liaising with brokers and EPD clients after an activation call. - Monitoring weather and Eurocontrol issues that could affect group flights, communicating relevant detail accordingly. - Maintaining the company database of suppliers and relevant information including CRM account management and the production of flight briefs, contracts and invoices as and when required. - Providing out of hours telephone and enquiry management for the Air Partner Group. - Supporting the Senior Aviation Support Specialist as and when required in the areas of Compliance and Permit applications.

- Relevant previous experience within a flight support or operational role would be an advantage. - International experience and the ability to speak an additional language would be an advantage. - Experience in CHMI and applications such as Avinode, CharterPad, DocuSign, FlightAware, and FlightRadar24.
