Reporting directly to the Team Leader/ Import Manager (Cargo), you will achieve this by supporting our time / non time critical shipments for the aerospace business, as well as arranging cargo charter flights.
You will also have the opportunity to take part in various field activities such as client visits, airline visits, general supplier visits and aircraft viewings. This is a fast paced role where no two days are the same.
What you will be doing:
Achieving targets set for each financial year Providing support to your line Manager in all aspects of daily trading Maintaining and growing our existing client base Assisting with client care activities and supplier relations Turning around new and existing client enquiries in a timely manner Ensuring all new enquiries are entered correctly and regularly updated in our CRM Providing an after sales service and orderly maintenance of paperwork Researching relevant industry data to create new sales leads · Building new business for Air Partner in a competitive market
· Managing and maintaining high service levels on demanding accounts
Shift patterns are as follows:
2 days followed by 2 nights, then 4 days off
Days shifts are 7am-7pm
Night shifts are 7pm-7am
What we are looking for:
· Experience in freight forwarding and customs compliance as well as time critical movements and customs procedures is essential.
A proactive sales approach with smart procurement abilities and resourceful aircraft location. You will be creative when presenting offers, demonstrating outstanding commercial awareness, insightful closing techniques and robust flight / shipment cargo / freight planning arrangement administration. A great communicator who is competitive, highly motivated, and hungry to win business. You will be customer centric, flexible, and numerate, with strong IT skills and excellent time management, to ensure rigorous contract and project deadlines are met. Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to demonstrate a logical approach to problem solving, remaining calm and adapting to changing situations. · Above all, you will be a team player who is able to maintain a sense of humour, even in pressured situation.
