The business is going from strength to strength and so we are looking for a Junior Account Manager to be trained to become a capable and successful aircraft charter broker, to deliver unrivalled ad-hoc aircraft charter solutions to our extensive portfolio of clients.
This role involves supporting an established broking team sales prospecting and market research within an allocated industry sector. This will be achieved by telephone sales and desk research identifying charter opportunities from both past customers and prospective clients.
To be effective in this role you will demonstrate proactive sales ability, smart procurement abilities, resourceful aircraft location, creative presentation of offers, outstanding commercial awareness, insightful closing techniques and robust administration with the flight planning arrangements.
After six months, if successful, you will graduate to becoming a Charter Broker with new responsibilities including a looking after a portfolio of key customer accounts.
What you will be doing:
• Achieving targets set for each financial year • Providing support in all aspects of day to day trading • Maintaining and growing existing client base • Assisting with client care activities and supplier relations • Turning around new and existing client enquiries in a timely manner • Ensuring all new enquiries are entered correctly into Axis and that the CRM is updated on a regular basis • Providing an after sales service and orderly maintenance of paperwork and files • Researching relevant industry data to create new sales leads • Building new business for Air Partner in a competitive market • Managing and maintaining high service levels on demanding accounts
What we are looking for:
• A competitive attitude, with a sales mindset and a desire to succeed • A customer focused attitude, with good people skills and the ability to form relationships with key individuals • Excellent time management skills to ensure rigorous contract and project deadlines are met • Well organised and resourceful, with a logical approach to problem solving • IT literate with the ability to learn the functions of a new system (MS Office) • Numerate, efficient and accurate • An ability to maintain a sense of humour, even in a pressured situation • Previous experience working in an international environment desirable, tourism is an advantage • A willingness to travel, sometimes globally • Excellent communication skills in Italian and English
