Air Partner, part of the Wheels Up family and leaders in aviation charter, safety and security training and consultancy and disaster recover, are looking for a Learning & Development Courseware Developer to join their Gatwick based Team. You will provide courseware development services to support the Head of L&D for assigned content to support functional areas. You will consult, as required, on the design and development of instructor-led and e-learning content, to provide an engaging and impactful adult learning experience that delivers the required return on investment to the business and review courseware materials developed by subject matter experts for quality. Using common development tools, you will produce e-learning from provided materials (storyboards, ppt slides, scripts, videos etc) and build assessment quizzes and surveys to effectively assess learning. The position works under self-management, managing tasks of moderate to complex scope.
This is a 12 month fixed term contract, ideally starting at the beginning of March 2023. We work a hybrid model of min 3 days from the office and 2 from home.
What you will be doing:
• Developing storyboards from PowerPoints and scripts for e-learning in conjunction with Subject Matter Experts and Head of L&D • Self-studying programmes for online learning • Creating E-learning modules to meet requirements • Loading and testing of all material onto the Learning Management System • Facilitating the delivery of pilot training courses with the Trainer/ Subject Matter Expert • Advising on emerging instructional methods and high impact adult learning principles • Checking incoming materials for quality and robustness • Creating, revising and maintaining e-learning using e-learning software • Processing short shelf-life e-learning/recordings for publication from incoming materials • Working with project teams to develop SCORM compliant e-learning • Creating multimedia products using a variety of software programs, to timescales and with minimal defects • Manipulating and editing digital imagery, video and incorporating graphics, and effects • Manipulating and editing audio • Generating assessment quizzes and surveys • Contributing to the project planning for major pieces of development work and providing regular progress updates against the plan • Contributing to courseware development pipeline management activities
What we ae looking for:
Essential: • Demonstrable Instructional Design experience and capability • A demonstrable ability to work to tight deadlines in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment • An ability to work with stakeholders to develop robust design briefs • Microsoft Office experience • An understanding of ROI in learning & development • An understanding of the capabilities of e-learning as well as its associated development tools and software • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and presentation)
Desirable: • Previous experience working in the Aviation or Sales sector would be advantageous • Training Foundation - TAP accredited • Thorough understanding of Kirkpatrick evaluation model • Copy editing experience • An understanding of Learning Management Systems (LMS)
