Air Partner are looking for a bilingual Marketing Assistant to join their Cologne Office. Reporting into the Senior Marketing Manager based in our UK head office & indirectly into VP Group Marketing, you will manage and deliver the marketing and communications activity for Air Partner Private Jet, Corporate/Commercial Jets and Freight, across key European markets (Germany, France, Italy, Turkey and new European Markets). Fluency in German & English are essential for this role and all applications should be submitted in English.
Your role will be to support the ambitions of the two-year marketing strategy. You will deliver marketing campaigns and activity that support the ‘go to market’ strategy, ensuring we attract, nurture and retain our most valuable customers.
What you will be doing:
Working with Digital, Creative & PR resources to ensure campaign activity delivery
Assisting in the development & collation of all marketing plans to support both B2B & B2C, including allocation & management of small budgets & ROI tracking
Implementation of marketing plans across key markets, utilising the full marketing mix (online / offline)
Coordinating & delivering specific marketing activity with a focus on Customer First & CRM, database marketing
Playing a major part in the organisation of key events (including affiliate, external customer & internal events)
Assisting with ensuring Air Partner is positioned as a leading authority within B2B, including customer news stories & B2C working through the seasonal marketing plans for occasions to travel
Attending & contributing to global marketing meetings
Researching - reviewing current products & services & market trends, presenting ideas for enhancing the customer journey & experience
Assisting with the coordination of key internal communications including staff newsletters, CEO updates & annual reports
Positioning timely & frequent website content & messaging according to market segment
Assisting with internal communications for the intranet & with the intranet implementation project
You will be a fully rounded marketer with varied experience across many online and offline marketing methods who will be involved in other areas across the business including internal communications. You will also:
Be fluent in both German and English
Have at least 3 years’ experience in varied marketing roles
Ideally have aviation experience; or
Have experience working in a B2B or corporate marketing environment
Have a good understanding of customer segmentation & targeting strategies
Have experience working on global activity, developing brand & internal activity globally
Have experience in managing Google Pay-per-click
Have experience in database and customer centric marketing
Have excellent stakeholder management skills & good communication skills
Be a marketing professional who can think commercially & who has a good understanding of marketing techniques including CRM & digital
Be results focused & understand ROI & tracking metrics
Be confident, articulate & able to communicate with people at all levels
Be very organised with an ability to work to tight deadlines & within budget
Have an ability to be innovative & to sell ideas & concepts to others
Have an understanding of how to deliver timely & effective PR communications
Have a flexible, adaptable & co-operative attitude - able to work as part of a team
Have a good degree of initiative & self-motivation with a natural ability to inspire & manage a team, but also operationally hands-on and motivated to deliver
Ideally be educated to degree level with professional marketing qualifications
Have an understanding of CRM & database solutions, ideally Microsoft Dynamics
Have excellent written & spoken German and English skills - fluency in other languages would also be a bonus
Have good Microsoft skills: Excel, PowerPoint, Word & InDesign (not essential)
You will also have experience of marketing automation e.g. Click Dimensions & Campaign Monitor
