Leaders in aviation charter, we are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our London (Charring Cross) based Private Jets team.
You will take responsibility for attaining and maintaining key customer accounts, whilst also working alongside the wider Private Jets Account Management and Sales Teams.
You will deliver revenue and profitability in accordance with your agreed targets across the Private Jet product portfolio (Jetcard, CMP, and On-Demand). This will be achieved by providing charter solutions to new clients as well as assisting with existing customers where required and other ad-hoc projects.
• Win, Maintain, develop and grow a loyal portfolio of key clients whilst achieving set targets and KPI measures each year, ensuring exemplary customer service, increasing GP performance and client retention • Provide support to the individual team members in all aspects of their day-to-day trading and sales activities • Enter all new enquiries and activities correctly into our CRM System, Dynamics 365 • Turnaround new and existing client enquiries across the Private Jet product portfolio • Display best practice at all times, whilst complying with relevant internal processes and procedures (e.g. ISO-9001, D365 activity logging etc) • Research relevant industry data to create new sales leads • Conduct proactive sales calls, client visits and portfolio management • Carry out aircraft visits and departure see-offs where required • Attend and represent Air Partner at relevant industry events • Identify opportunities to upsell and cross sell the various Air Partner products to your clients
This role involves occasional out-of-hours work in high pressure situations and you will work in a competitive environment that presents often highly challenging situations, so you will need to be able to remain calm, composed and focused on the job in hand.
What we are looking for:
To be effective in this role, you will demonstrate proactive prospecting, smart procurement abilities, resourceful aircraft location, creative presenting of offers, outstanding commercial awareness, insightful closing techniques, and robust administration with the flight planning arrangements. You will also:
• Be a goal-driven, high-energy, competitive and highly motivated individual that is both an independent worker and a strong team player • Have first rate product knowledge with a good understanding of changing markets both in Private Jet Operators and Clients • Have strong negotiation skills • Be extremely customer focused and have excellent people skills • Be organised, numerate, and efficient • Have a logical approach to problem solving • Have an ability to effectively communicate and convey information • Be computer literate and able to learn new systems quickly • Be adaptable to change • Have experience working in an international, multi-cultural environment • Be able to anticipate & intervene, to recover situations in a timely & constructive way • Have a sense of humour
