Air Partner, a world-leading international aviation services group are looking for a Senior Flight Coordinator to be responsible for providing trip support to the US private jets broking team, in addition to supporting the Director of Trip Support with day-to-day supervision, scheduling, and training of the overall Trip Support team. The role will encompass a variety of tasks including pre-flight logistics, current-day operations, and post-flight follow-through. The Trip Support team provides service to our clients 24/7/365 and delivers a seamless, elite customer experience to both external and internal customers.
We will consider applicants based across the USA to work remotely, or anyone who prefers office based or hybrid working, in the Fort Lauderdale area.
You will be an Air Partner Ambassador oversee all flight operations logistics, starting 72 hours through the post-flight journey and ensure and elite customer service. You will also:
• Confirm the details of the customer journey with suppliers and operators • Generate complete and timely flight briefs to the clients • Following movements and notifying clients and monitoring operations on flight day • Arrange logistics and updating logistics for clients as needed, including ground transportation, catering or other specific requests for clients • Proactively research potential flight issues (i.e. Weather delays/diversions, alternate airports, slot/parking/permit constraints, etc.) • Escalate and clearly communicate any potential flight issues • Complete a pre-flight review of crew qualifications utilizing Air Partner’s high safety standards; ensuring all company safety and quality processes are followed • Provide accurate, complete, and concise pass down of information to ensure all is kept apprised of all details being handled and outstanding items • Fully utilize the company CRM and other flight operations systems • Maintain the client and supplier database • Ensure full compliance with company procedures, protocols and safety standards • Support the Customer First initiative to its fullest extent
You will also support the Director of Trip Support and SVP, Private Jets with the following:
• On-going development of training materials and new hire training • On-going schedule management and workload forecasting for Trip Support • Management of departmental policies and procedures • Monitoring overall service delivery, ensuring department SLAs are achieved • Serve as primary decision maker when Director of Trip Support is not available • Participating in on-going team recruitment, assisting with interviews and recommendations for potential hires • Performing special projects as required • Participating in department structure strategy and contributing to the development of best operational practices
What we are looking for:
• Previous work experience or degree in aviation-related discipline • General knowledge of aviation, geography, and travel logistics • Private aviation knowledge of Part 135 operations • An understanding of the US and international charter market and regulatory environment • Determination and accountability with a strong work ethic • A passionate leader • Experience in training and coaching team members, preferred • Effective management of employee scheduling solutions • Organization skills with the ability to prioritize in time-sensitive situations • An elite level attention to detail. • Customer-focus with strong interpersonal skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • A solution-oriented individual with and ability to solve complex logistical puzzles daily • A flexible and supportive team leader that is strong and self-motivated • An ability to work holidays and variable shifts as needed • Strong negotiation and quantitative skills • An ability to promote the Air Partner culture and brand at all times • IT literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office, and the ability to quickly learn new systems • Experience with Avinode, FlightBridge, or Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus
