Time Critical Specialist / Senior Broker Gatwick or Cologne

Leaders in aviation charter, we are looking for a Time Critical Specialist / Senior Broker to be based in either our Cologne or Gatwick offices with previous Time Critical Experience.  You will be highly motivated and be able to work in a dynamic and ‘go-now’ environment. An ability to think outside the box, provide quick solutions through a proactive mentality whilst demonstrating control of the situation to our customers and building trust, will be vital in this role.  This position will allow career progression in our Time Critical Team with the potential of moving onto our international aircraft freight chartering team.

What you will be doing:

·       Coordinating our Time Critical service offerings to our client base, in particular with On Board Courier services (OBC), NFO, trucking feeder services and offering small aircraft charter options

·       Solution finding, service coordination and monitoring of time critical services

·       Providing Time Critical Logistic Services solution, OBC, NFO, small aircraft charter options

·       Operational planning, customer support, execution and coordination

·       Coordinating and problem-solving time critical situations

·       Coordinating with suppliers as well as our overseas teams

·       Identifying, developing and building business networks and relationships with customers

·       Maintaining files, job costing, invoicing/ accrual management

·       Taking part in our third-party software development for constant improvement of time critical delivery solutions

·       Supporting the preparation of periodic reporting, monthly reviews, and quarterly business reviews

·       Tracking supplier performance

·       Implementing corrective actions as necessary to prevent / address issues as they arise

·       Ensuring effective and efficient communications with all stakeholders

What we’re looking for?

·       A minimum of 5 years relevant industry and/or Time Critical Services experience is essential

·       Excellent communication skills in English, and German (for Germany position) - any additional language skills would also be an advantage

·       Excellent skills in Microsoft Office applications, as well as Time Critical Software applications and an ability to suggest improvements to our existing systems and processes

·       A willingness and ability to travel in line with business needs globally

·       A willingness and ability to participate in our 24/7 on call, duty roster

·       An ability to multitask and to work within deadlines for time critical assignments

·       An ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing business needs

·       An ability to interact with and adapt to different cultures in different time zones

·       A convincing and good communicator with an approachable character

·       Strong customer focus

Salary will be dependent on relevant experience.
